We collect only what's needed to make the app work: the food, water, weight, workouts, and recipes you log, plus your profile (name, age, height, weight, goal). Everything is stored on your device first. If you create an account, we also store your email and sync your data to our backend. If you upload health documents (blood tests, body scans), the extracted measurements are stored on your device — and in your cloud backup if you sign in.
AI features
When you use AI features (photo meal logging, menu scanning, voice logging, chat, cravings, recipe tools), the text, images, or audio you submit is sent through our secure server to AI providers for processing: Anthropic (Claude), OpenRouter (which routes to model providers such as Google and Anthropic), and OpenAI (voice transcription). Requests are proxied via Cloudflare. These providers process your content to generate a response and do not use it to train their models under our API terms. We do not store the content of AI requests on our servers.
Location
If you allow location access, your coordinates are used to find restaurants near you (via our server and the Geoapify places service) and to set your region so AI suggestions match local cuisine and brands. Your precise location is used for the search at that moment and is not stored on our servers; only your country and city are saved in your profile.
How we use it
Your data powers your diary, progress charts, AI suggestions, and (optionally) syncing across your devices. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build a profile of you for any third party.
Cloud sync
If you sign in, your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with Supabase, our backend provider. Signing out removes your data from the device; it remains in your account for your next sign-in.
Apple Health
On iOS, if you enable Health sync, meals, water, and workouts you log are written to Apple Health on your device. We never receive your Health data on our servers.
Crash reports
We use Sentry to collect crash reports so we can fix bugs. Reports include stack traces and device model, but not your personal data or food log.
Your rights & account deletion
You can export your data from Settings → Export. To delete your account and all cloud data, see account deletion. Data stored only on your device is removed by deleting the app or using Settings → Reset all data.
